As our nation continues to move forward through these uncertain times, we would like to reiterate that The Genie Company team is committed more than ever to safe & conforming practices that ensure the safety of our team members, customers, families, & communities.

To reaffirm our previous communication, Genie, as part of the door and operator access systems industry, has been deemed essential to the well-being of homes & businesses across the country. Each of them has the potential to be made vulnerable to security & accessibility shortcomings as the result of garage door openers, garage doors, & their accessories not performing their vital functions.

To ensure we honor the importance bestowed on the value our products provide & their continued supply, we have instituted a number of practices for the safety & welfare of all including:

• Increased cleaning & sanitation of facilities
• Expanded use of WebEx & other technologies for meeting
• Canceled or postponed group events
• Remind Team Members to stay home if they are sick
• Limited all travel
• Suspended all air travel
• Implemented work from home capabilities

We are still operating at full speed to keep pace with demand through phone, online support, email, and fax. Our distribution centers are open & continue to ship orders in a timely manner. Continual communication with our suppliers is also a key component to staying on top of developments.

    New construction home genie garage door opener, one button remote, garage closes with remote but will not open once door is closed, and vehicle is outside with remote. I am thinking weak battery. What do you suggest ?
