Walmart In-Home Delivery Now Available in the DC Area!

Genie’s Aladdin Connect smart garage door opener is compatible with Walmart InHome Delivery.  InHome Delivery is a service from Walmart that allows you to order groceries online or schedule return pickups through the InHome app or on Walmart.com.  Walmart associates will then shop for the order and deliver it directly to your home.  On delivery day, one of InHome’s associates will get secure, one-time access to your Genie Aladdin Connect garage door opener through the InHome app.  The team will only have the ability to operate your garage door at this time.  You can rest easy knowing your groceries will be safely placed in your garage refrigerator, saving you time and unnecessary trips to the grocery store. Every delivery is live streamed through the associate’s vest camera so you can watch your deliveries live or up to 7 days later in the InHome app. 

InHome Delivery has now expanded to the DC area!  Walmart InHome Delivery began in 2019 and is also available in Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Southeast Florida, Phoenix, and Northwest Arkansas. 

The Aladdin Connect by Genie is a smart device enabled garage door controller.  Users can monitor and control access to their garage door opener – all from the convenience of the Aladdin Connect app on their phone.  Users can setup rules to let them know how long a door is open or to close the door at a certain time.  Garage door openers that are not integrated with the Aladdin Connect can purchase the Aladdin Connect retrofit kit to make your garage door smart.
