The house I just moved into has Linear openers. Will my Genie ACSCTG type 3 remotes work with Linear operators?
No, they will not.
I have extra old style ACSCTG Type 3 remote.. It hasn’t had a battery in it for a long time.. It worked just fine before I took the battery out.. With a new battery it doesn’t work. I tested the new battery in my other remote. It’s not the battery. Does the remote need to be resinked to my opener.. I can’t find or no longer have the instructions for my door opener.

My Genie ACSCTG stopped working. Even after I replaced the battery it still does not work. Do I need to replace the remote ?

Can the ACSCTG type 3 remote replace the ACSCTG type 1 remote and does the type 3 work on two different doors that are currently type 1?
Yes, this will replace the type 1 remote and will operate two doors that worked with the type 1.
I use the original remote (model B8QACSCT) , it has 1 button only, which has turned “gooey”. I also live in a gated community, would I be able to program this remote for the garage AND the entry gate? It would be awesome to ONLY have 1 remote for both gates. Please advise, thank you
