Similar to RodelP, I just installed the Connect but I cannot get it to integrate into my “routines”. It is simply not listed under Smart Home in the Alexa app. Is there anyway to achieve this?
@Danielle Those instructions seem to be for the old app, which was replaced early September if I’m not mistaken. I to can not get the new app to work with alexa routines. Nothing I do seems to get Alexa to recognize the doors as devices. I’ve set the names in Alexa and in Aladdin the same (why are there 2 different places to name the same device in Aladdin?); tried removing the devices from alexa, changing the names in aladdin, power cycling the units, and reconnecting to alexa. Old names show up, they still don’t work.
Do we have updated instruction for getting Aladdin to work with alexa past "alexa, open the garage door?
When are we going to get Apple HomeKit support so we can say “Her Siri, open garage door”?

Yes Aladdin Connect is fully compatible with Alexa. Previously there was a custom skill for Aladdin Connect, and that has been upgraded with the new smart home skill. If you are using the previous version, you will need to delete, and download the smart home skill for Aladdin Connect.
