Where is my learn button on my half horsepower Genie screw drive garage door opener
The location of the learn code button can be different depending on which model garage door opener you have. The common place for Genie screw drive models was under the light cover, if your back is to the garage door, to the left of the left light bulb. You can also check the owners manuals.
UNIVERSAL WORKS WITH ALL BRAND GARAGE DOOR OPENERS
To Apply Screw Drive Lubricant:
- Wipe off the screw (normally works best with just a dry rag)
- Sparingly apply one bead of lubricant along the full length of the screw
- Run the garage door up and down to distribute the lubricant
- Wipe off excess lubricant
