@Anna Wood – You should have one Series II wall console (the grey box with white buttons) operating each garage door. So you have two total – one operates Door A, the other operates door B. This is how it should be set up, and they can only operate one door each.
If you are looking to add an additional button that would operate both doors, I would recommend the Universal wireless wall console. It can be added on, and you can keep the original wall consoles where they are, and they will work the same. The Universal Wireless Wall Console will allow you to operate up to three separate doors, on the one console.

I have 2 garage doors. They each have a Genie 2128 opener. Their s/n are F0AD4E16F69B02F and F0AD4E16CED7026 with Genie series II grey box opener with white buttons. The electrician wired 2 openers for each door, one by den entrance and one by back entrance. The installer said we could only use one set of buttons. Is there any way to be able to have both sets available to operate the doors?

@Boris – Your option would be to install another Series III wall console.

Hello,
I have a series 3 wall button console. I’d like to add a second wall button. Can I use a generic wall button and simply piggy back the wiring from the console to the basic button? If not, please advise the best connection process. Will a generic button work, if not what kind of button do I need to use for this?

Thanks

Boris

@ Dave – You could use the Universal Wireless Wall Console or the Series II Wall Console.
