The Genie Signature Series premium screw drive garage door opener has an ultra-quiet 2 HPc DC motor that provides the ultimate combination of power and speed. It is twice as fast as most chain or belt drive garage door opener models. This model is specifically designed for 7 ft. high garage doors, and it includes an added Genie Intellicode-enabled exterior wireless keypad for convenient garage door entry without a remote. We have a big garage door. Which opener is the strongest, and what is its maximum lift?

The Wall mount unit has the largest lifting strength for sectional doors, with a maximum door weight of 850 lbs. Visit the product selector and select wall mount for more information.
Do you have an opener that would accommodate a total garage depth of 112" wall to wall? The door is 6'6". Thx.

None of our units are that short. However, we do have wall mount unit that will work on sectional doors with torsion springs. Please see our product selector, and select wall mount for more information.
how much does Model 4062-TKNMSO cost?

We don't sell full operators direct so you will have to check with local retailers. For model Signature Series 2 HP Premium Screw Drive Garage Door Opener you will have to check with Home Depot as they are the only retailer that carries this model.

The entire length of the motor and rail assembly is 126 inches.
Which Genie powerhead assembly do I need to purchase to replace my Genie Excelerator Model ISD 990 1/2 HP powerhead?

Unfortunately the entire rail and head assembly (complete unit) will need to be replaced. The most comparable models we carry are the 4062 and the 4063.
How fast does the door open? Some models say 12 in./second

Is there an extension available for a 10 foot door?

No, this will not work on a 10-foot high garage door. The extension kit will only work on up to an 8-foot high door.
Will my existing Craftsman wireless keyless entry pad (PN 9-53876) work with this opener?

No, it will not.
I currently have the Geine ISL 950 but the motor stopped working today. Can I simply purchase the Mach Force Plu 2 HP Premium Screw Drive Unit and only install the Head Unit and use the current track etc?

No, the track for the ISL 950 will not work with the MachForce powerhead. The Machforce will come with the new track to use though.
Can the motor on a screw drive opener be slowed? The door that this is on is one piece and very light weight, mostly translucent plastic panels with a lightweight wood frame.

You will be able to adjust the force for the garage door opener. See page 17 of the owner's manual.
Does the motor lock if someone tries to force the door open, ie someone trying to break in to your garage?

While the door is engaged to the opener, it cannot be moved manually.
What amperage outlet does this require to power it?

Yes, it can. This would be the distance that the opener opens/closes each cycle once set.
Can this opener be set to open at 12 in/sec regardless of the weight of the door?

The opener will run at a max of 12 in/sec. If the door is heavier the opener will go slower.
how many remotes can be programmed to this opener?

You can use up to 20 remotes with your Genie signature series garage door opener.
Can you add batte ry backup after market?

Yes, you can add the 41590R battery back up to the Mach force opener.
what is the opening speed?

Yes, the safety beam sensors have to be installed for the wall button to close the door without holding down the wall button, this is a federal regulation.
