This issue you are having is called constant light.  First make sure to attempt to turn your lights off by the light button on the wall switch.  If that does not work, we will need to determine what is causing the issue by completing the following steps. Remove the wall console from the wall, loosen the screws and remove the wires on the back, separate wires so they do not touch.  Then wait 6 full minutes to see if the lights go out.  If so, the wall button needs to be replaced, if not follow the wall button wire to the motor head on the ceiling.  Remove the wall button wires from terminals 3 and 4, then wait 6 full minutes to see if the lights go out, if so the wiring to the wall button needs replaced.  If the lights still do not go off, the circuit board is the issue.  Please let us know the results to this and we can assist you further.

We bought this unit 4 months ago. Just recently, the light has not been going out. Even when we hit the light button, it does nothing. What can we do?

Where is the wifi button located

This unit you specified does not have wifi included in it.  If you perhaps have another model that does include wifi, the blue wifi button would be located under the left-hand side light bulb cover if you are looking with your back to the garage door.

Can the Genie openers be assembled with a shorter drive rail section eg

We do not recommend shortening this model of garage door opener StealthDrive 750 1-1/4 HPc Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery BackUp.  If you do not have the needed 116 inches (119 inches with battery backup installed) back spacing between the garage door wall and any obstructions, we would recommend installing a wall/side mount unit, model numbers including 6070, 6170, 6072 and 6172.  You can find out more information on these models by visiting our product selector and click wall mounting on the left navigation.

Does this unit work with your Aladdin app?

This unit StealthDrive 750 1-1/4 HPc Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery BackUp will not work with the Aladdin app without adding the Aladdin Connect Kit, linked below. If you wish to purchase a unit with integrated Aladdin (meaning you would not need to purchase a separate kit) you would want to look at a 7155 model

I currently have a Genie Stealth GPS 1200-1c opener. Is the 7055 opener compatible with the rails that were installed for it or do I need to install different rails?

No, you will need to install the rails that come with the model 7055.

What is the warranty on the back up battery ? TY.

Warranty on the battery backup is one year.

Is it possible to install this opener WITHOUT using the Safe-T-Beam sensors? Door opens fine on its own, but without them installed, the door doesn’t want to close without having the button depressed for the entire closing sequence. Manual says this is because of something with the Safe-T-Beam sensors, which aren’t even installed presently.

The Safe-T-Beams have to be installed for proper operation. The door will not close without them being installed. This is a required safety function.

I see Lowes selling the model 7055 (Model #38959Y) with 8 feet rail, but I saw your installation video here says 9 feet rail. Which one is correct?

The rails that come with the 7055 models would be for a 7-foot high garage door. If you have an 8-foot high garage door, you would need the additional extension kit.

Will this unit remote pair with the universal remote in the roof console of my 2015 Chevy Impala?

Do you have an extension for a 10 ft door?

Is there a wall unit for 2 doors?

Are you refering to the wall console? If you are, at this time we do not have one wall console that would work for more than one door.

how do you connect 7055 to wifi no box to scan and says wrong sn

The 7055-TKV model garage door opener is not an integrated smart model opener. To add the smart capabilities to this model, you would need to add the Aladdin Connect RetroFit Kit.

Aladdin connect requires 15 numeric serial number but my new Genie 7055 has only 14 how do I register my door

The StealthDrive 750 model 7055-TKV does not have the Wi-fi built into it. You would have to add an Aladdin Connect to this model to make it a smart garage door opener. Is this the model that you have?

No, the StealthDrive 750 1-1/4 HPc Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery BackUp can only operate up to an 8' door with an extension kit. For that tall of a door, you would need a pro unit from your local Genie dealer.

We have many options that has WiFi capabilities. If you are looking for both battery backup and WiFi, we have a 7155. This is a belt drive opener.

have two 7055 tkve openers one the wall remotes has a red light the other does not the one without works fine just no light. is it supposed to be that way?

If you remove the non lit wall console from the wall and switch which screw each wires is on, on the back of the wall console this will make it light up.

How do you reengage the rope after an emergency shut down?

To re-engage the carriage after disengaging on a StealthDrive 750 1-1/4 HPc Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery BackUp, pull up on the red release cord.  The lever should be pointing to the side, rather than pointing down.
